Iron ore concentrates are deep beneficiated iron ore products, used for sintering and blast furnace production, as well as pellet production.
Ore concentrate, dressed ore or simply concentrate is the product generally produced by metal ore mines. The raw ore is usually ground finely in various comminution operations and gangue (waste) is removed, thus concentrating the metal component.
Iron ore concentrate is produced from the magnetite iron ore in beneficiation process and is used for the productions of pellets for blast furnaces and sinter.
Features
1 High iron content
The iron content in Metalloinvest’s iron ore concentrates is up to 70.0%.
2 Easy to transport
Iron ore concentrates can be transported by all means of transport, provided that no contamination, mixture with any other materials or cargo spillage is ensured.
3 Non-toxic, non-flammable and non-explosive
Iron ore concentrates are non-toxic, non-flammable and non-explosive.
4 Low level of impurities
Their low content of impurities makes iron ore concentrates highly efficient as a ferrous-metallurgy input.
5 Drying during winter period
Dried concentrate is efficient for transportation when the air temperature is below freezing
iron ore concentrate with fe content less than 63%
